Just steps from a popular Brooklyn sightseeing spot, this Thai spot blew us away. The food was incredible, and the staff at City were so friendly, giving us some amazing dish recommendations. Don’t miss their mango Thai tea—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!

Came here with my BEAUTIFUL girlfriend for the first time and loved everything from the drinks to the food and the service.
The best drink on the menu is the Sri Mala - mango and pandan make it a delicious and perfectly balanced cocktail. Although we didn’t try everything, this drink alone is so good we’ll be back to try the rest of the unique and tasty drinks.
We ordered the Moo Ping (pork skewers) and Som Tum Thai (papaya salad) for starters. The pork skewers were perfectly cooked and the papaya salad was refreshing with the right amount of spice. We also ordered the Crying Tiger Steak and the Sam Praya (seafood trio curry). Steak was cooked nicely and the nam jim sauce was a wonderful complement. The curry was very light and flavorful, soft shell crab was so crisp and clean - we wish we took a photo but the food was so good we couldn’t wait! The scallops and shrimp were also perfectly cooked and garnished with fresh peppercorn.
And of course we had to end the meal with the mango sticky rice. Everything was so delicious but the service, especially Kay, made the experience even better…. The mango on top if you will.

May have been the best Thai restaurant we’ve been to. Will definitely come back. Our waitress City was very nice. Beautifully decorated restaurant too. Highly recommend to anyone.
Had the Pad Thai, Seafood Curry, the mango chai tea. The Pad Thai noodles had the perfect texture and flavouring and came with two large prawns which complimented the noodles very well. The curry included some of the most juicy, well-cooked scallops we’ve ever had; not to mention the most delicious big soft shell crab. The mango chai iced tea
was so well-balanced; flavourful but also not too sweet, and didn’t know mango could compliment chai so nicely.

Elephant District in DUMBO is an absolute gem for Thai food! The atmosphere is fantastic, but the food is the real star of the show. We ordered a feast, and every single dish was a 10/10. The chicken steak was incredibly juicy, perfectly marinated, and cooked to absolute perfection—definitely a must-order. The Lobster Pad Thai is easily one of my favorite dishes here; the flavors are wonderfully balanced with that classic sweet and savory tamarind sauce, and the seafood tasted so fresh.
We also got the crispy veggies, and they nailed the texture—so satisfyingly crunchy and crispy on the outside, yet wonderfully soft and warm on the inside. But the absolute showstopper of the night was the Soft Shell Crab Curry (their Khaosoi Pu Nim). The soft shell crab was perfectly fried, and the dry Northern curry it comes in is so aromatic, rich, and truly special. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are in Brooklyn!

While hanging out in BK, I randomly came across a Thai restaurant that turned out to be surprisingly good. The food tastes very authentic, just like local Thai flavors, and the decor really makes you feel like you’re in Thailand. I really liked this place and would definitely recommend it if you’re visiting BK. It’s right next to the Brooklyn Bridge, so the location is super convenient.

Walking in we were greeted and welcomed. Kay took over and was so friendly. She was very patient describing the dishes and helped us put our order together. The lobster was succulent,
Prawns and green mussels were tasty. Everything was nicely seasoned. We were treated with dessert since we were celebrating a birthday. Thanks Kay!!

Elephant District is such a beautiful Thai spot. The presentation is stunning — orchids, banana leaves, and dishes served in real coconuts made everything feel special. The lobster was fresh and sweet, the grilled steak was juicy with a great char, and the skewers were full of smoky flavor. The mango drink was refreshing and not too sweet.
Great atmosphere and City is a very friendly server! She is very detail and organized. Perfect for date night — will definitely be back!

Elephant District was an amazing dining experience. Our server Kay was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The food was just as impressive. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced, the branzino was crispy and flavorful, and the mango sticky rice was the perfect sweet ending. Beautiful presentation, great flavors, and excellent service. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot for Thai food lovers.

We had lunch at Elephant District in Dumbo and honestly really enjoyed it. The location is great, but what stood out to me was the space itself — fun, bold and with lots of personality.
We ordered the Crispy Calamari, Thai Curry Puffs, Lobster Pad Thai and the Jumbo Dumbo Steak. Everything was flavorful and nicely presented, but the mains were definitely the highlight — super satisfying and packed with flavor.
We finished with the Mango Sticky Rice and tried a couple of cocktails (Sri Mala and Rumpan), both fresh and easy to drink.
Overall, a really solid spot for Thai food in Dumbo. Good vibe, good food, and somewhere I’d happily come back to.
